The Barn at West Farm is a stunning venue right on our doorstep, but one we'd never actually been to before. It was a beautiful Summer's day for Hywel & Vienna's wedding, and certainly toasty for bridal prep in the morning, but fortunately the bridal party were armed with fans for the morning to help stop them melting completely. For the second time I found myself playing the role of photographer at one of Ben's cousins' weddings, this time Darren & Maria. It was also my first church wedding, and despite living in Bridgend for several years by this point, I'd never before been to the church in Ben's home village of Llangeinor, St Cein's Church. I met Andy and Lauren a few months before their wedding for their pre-wedding shoot - we'd had to reschedule and move the shoot forward since, as I found out at the shoot, Lauren was pregnant, meaning they'd have a beautiful baby girl by the time their wedding came around! I had the opportunity to once again do some second shooting at Carly and Gareth's wedding, with the lead shooter being Trevor Meakin Photography.
